"I went for the first time to celebrate my daughters 14th birthday with our family of 8 including a newborn and I accidentally left my sun glasses behind. I called after we left and they said no one had turned them in. The following day the GM Walter was kind enough to find our number in their call log and called me and told me that they had found my glasses. Come to find out an employee had found them and was honest enough to say he had them and turned them in. I am very happy that there still is people who are honest out there. To say the least we will absolutely be back and will give them plenty of more business. You don't find honest employees or businesses anymore and these guys earned my continued business. Thank yall!"
"This place was fun. The kids had a blast. It was clean and really nice. The atmosphere was really good. You could tell the employees loved working there. I even told one of them I could tell she liked working there her response was, "I love this job." When employees like what they do, it makes the atmosphere better. We drove from Hondo specifically to this place because almost all the reviews I saw the owner replied in some way. It showed he cared enough for reviews, so I knew he would care about his facility. "I took my 9yo daughter and we had a great time. The owners are friendly and you can tell they work hard and love what they do. I think this may be family owned. The facilities are a bit old but they’re well kept. Prices are good, they have a small snack bar with icees, nachos…etc. They pause regular skate time for red light green light and other games like they used to when I was younger. It’s a good time here. We’re coming back again next weekend and also having my daughter’s birthday party here this year."

Some impressive skaters will go out every once in a while and show amazing skill which makes you hopeful for your skating future. "We've been going to Car-Vel Skating Rink for about a month now. Every time we go, we get taken care by everyone. Dixie always checks us in and handles our transaction. She is absolutely helpful and the sweetest. We also love Julianni, she's also fun to talk to and we always get our snacks and drinks whenever we need something. The only thing that I don't really care for is the music selection on Sundays for Family Day. We have a 2 year old daughter and sometimes the music can be a little inappropriate for the younger crowd with families. Overall though, it's a great rink with great people and great vibes."

"I broke my ankle this Thursday cuz some people were skating inconsiderately, I was snapchatting my friend skating when some dude roughly cut her off and almost made her fall. 10 seconds later another dude squatting while skating made me fall and I haven't been able to walk since. THAT SAID, I absolutely love this place I've been coming since middle school and I'm not ready to give up on the place. The DJ always plays the best music especially hits from around 2007 2008 when ATL came out that just hits so hard with the nostalgia. The cop out front is always so friendly and makes you feel secure. The prices are cheap, lots of tables for your friends to put down their purse and your drinks. Thursday night is adult night byob. This place deserve 5 stars and even though I'm in a lot of pain right now I can't wait to go back. Cheap concessions reasonable pricing it's one of the best entertainment experiences in San antonio. Just wish the "pros" with all their tricks and speed would show their talent by not cutting you off and making other people fall, if you're so good go around us don't cut people off all fast"

"GRANDMOTHER APPROVAL ....One of the nicest places in town....located on Goliad Road. A few short blocks from my home. We have been there for many, many years...Just started back this past fall with 6 and 8 year grand kids. My own kids went there, then my older grand kids, now my younger grand kids. Super nice owner, and good music on Sundays...nothing foul in the music .... We have to be so very careful what our 'kids' are skating to now-a-days. So glad to have this experience still in store for my grandchildren."

"The fee here on Thursday night is $15, not $7 for ladies as advertised on Facebook (I wanted to be upset for the false advertising, but I had too much fun so it was worth it) Bring 50 cents (two quarters, not a debit card) for a locker rental fee to store your shoes or else you’ll have to walk in your socks to your car to lock them up, like I did. The music and atmosphere is phenomenal, let me tell you. They play current hip hop/rap music as well as Throwback 2000s; I even heard some MJ. On Thursday’s you have some experienced skaters so newbies just be careful out there. You can fall, run into ppl, & get overwhelmed easily. The crowd is fun, hype, and everyone loves to dance. The concession stand is stocked up and ready for service. Overall I had a blast and I’ll be a regular on Thursday’s moving forward. I highly recommend this place, even with the set backs I crossed.
